- Summary
- It is one of the most highly expected events of the summer: the Berliner Philharmoniker's yearly concert in one of the biggest and most beautiful outdoors theatre in the world, the Waldbühne in Berlin. In 2007, 20 000 people came to hear the orchestra performing under the baton of its actual music director, Sir Simon Rattle. And as a guest, the great British pianist Stephen Hough, plays with genious Rachmaninov's famous Rhapsody, a series of variations on Paganini's Capriccio No. 24, that Hough recorded on the Hyperion label
