- The eccentric Valentine family lives in Tupelo, Mississippi, and their family business is funerals. Uncle Charlie runs the only funeral home in town, while Lovie caters the wakes, Mama sells headstones, and Callie styles the hair of the dearly departed. When an embalmed body goes missing, chaos ensues. The Valentines are afraid that if they don't find the missing corpse, their business could die. So with a little help from their failed show-dog Elvis, the Valentines are on the chase
